Growing mushrooms and marijuana seems beautiful and something I look forward to doing later in life. Also growing other entheogenic plants.
What have you grown?
What would you say is the risk of deciding to grow?
How fun is it?
How hard is it?
I bet it is worth it.

I have grow mushrooms many times and am rather proficient at it. But I do not mess around with advanced shit at all. There is always risk if you get caught by the police. Just cant be dumb about it.
Its easy as fuck. First grow went great and have had very little troubles through the years.
I plan to grow MJ when I get out of this apartment building.
BTW its extremely fun

I grow mushrooms, and I grow vegetables in my garden and I am setting up to grow some MJ in the near future. I enjoy growing things in general gives me at least a good feeling not to mention I love fresh foods and fungi.

Yup that's a Martha. In fact go back a few years ago and see who came up with the idea to use em
Of all the things I came up with this was by far the biggest one. Lets newbs grow shrooms with no effort at all. http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=75&Number=1303334&fpart=&PHPSESSID=

Wanna know how I did LC.
Here is my El Mexicano lazy man tek. Take a piece of myc off of a cake or casing or whatever put into a syringe of sterile water and shake it like a epileptic monkey. Worked every time.

when i get my own place im looking forward to growing a few enthogens. shrooms, salvia, cacti, maybe kratom.
and i should be growing my own bud after new year, if i can persuade the folks
its odd though, a few months ago while my mum and dad were drunk, my dad suggested we grow a couple of plants for a bit of extra money, obviously it was never going to happen coz it was drunken talk, but it makes me think they would be cool with me growing a couple of plants in my room

I have grown herb, thinking about getting back to it. Have grown mushrooms but have gotten a hold of some sclerotia producers and am planning on sticking with those now - hell of a lot less work.
Also have some baby P. torch and San Pedro seedlings going. Actually I need to double check what I have left in my seed stash, I think one container might actually have been seeded with T. validus.

When I get my own place I am gonna grow some entheogens and ganja.
My dad is open minded and accepting of me, my mom is not so much but still pretty cool.
Anyway I do have a spore print in my drawer.
Just need to get my own place, stop being lazy, and buy the stuff to grow.

I grow the herb
Not currently but have been known to get dirty
Speaking of odd mushrooms I found myself some siamese twins
I also grow some ethnogens as well That's my big bridgsii, it's currently 3'5", in the bottom right are some smaller bridgsii.
You could see it on the left but here it is again, my Calea zacatechichi (aka dream herb)
We all have the power to nurture life
Fractal, if you can't grow illegal stuff at your parents there's no reason you can't start working towards a nice garden by beginning to gather up your indoor supplies and get into legal ethnobotany
Get yourself a fan, a switchable MH/HPS 250w, and bingo you can grow anything you want. Even just s little T5 like mine is very efficient and quite cheap.

Calea zacatechichi, also known as Dream Herb, Cheech, and Bitter Grass, is a plant used by the indigenous Chontal of the Mexican state of Oaxaca for oneiromancy (a form of divination based on dreams.) The plant naturally occurs from southern Mexico to northern Costa Rica. It has been scientifically demonstrated that extracts of this plant increase reaction times and the frequency and/or recollection of dreams[1] versus placebo and diazepam. It is also employed by the Chontal people as a medicinal herb against gastrointestinal disorders, and is used as an appetizer, cathartic anti-dysentery remedy, and as a fever-reducing agent.
Wussow et al. (1985) indicates that the correct Latin name is Calea ternifolia Kunth, of which two varieties are recognized.
Use
The Chontal medicine men, who assert that this plant is capable of "clarifying the senses" causing euphoria, call it thle-pela-kano, meaning "leaf of God". Whenever they desire to know the cause of an illness or the location of a distant or lost person, the common ritual is to smoke a cigarette, whilst drinking a tea, both made of Calea Zacatechichi, right before going to sleep. Some also report placing the leaf of God under their pillow before sleeping. Reportedly, the answer to the question comes in a dream.[2]
This sounds awsome.

I used to grow the shrooms. I still have my gigantic AA pressure cooker so I will be growing more in the future. I should be doing it now, but with the threat of random inspections at this apartment i wont.
just a few:
horse shit FTW!
and I like to grow weed even more, yet have less experience growing weed than mushrooms. you can find those pics in my grow logs or my gallery, which has over a thousand pics in it. i always love seeing everyone elses grows.

Yes I did the bagging thing but it was just to arid out here at the time and tbh I just didn't put the effort into it that I should have. Granted I didn't know nearly as much about plants as I do now, although that knowledge is still just a drop out of the ocean.

Grown some weed outdoors but was never too serious about it. pretty much just tossed some seeds in the dirt...
Me and my brother have grown a lot of mushrooms. I never really cared about the mushrooms though because i'm not that into tripping. Was pretty cool to learn though. My avi is from a grow we did, I could probably post a bunch more pictures but I'm lazy hahaha

Everything about it comes easy to me. Being sterile is easy as long as you dont live in filth and clean up before hand and use the proper procedures.

I am with you guys that say it is easier than MJ. As long as you keep a fairly clean area to do most of it(small bathrooms are easy to keep clean) like inoculating the jars and making the spore syringe.

FB I deffinitely agree, the work that needs to be done in mycology is always in spurts. Like last night I had to soak some WBS and today I had to drain, fill, and sterilize my jars. However once I'm out of work tonight I'll inoculate and then sit on my ass for a few weeks. Then it'll be time to pasteurize some poo! My plant however needs me to go and look at her every day to look for signs of stress, watering, cleaning, trimming, training, ect.
Sterilization is easy as hell man, all you gotta do is leave the jars in your PC for awhile and bam! done! The only other time you've really got to worry about keeping things sterile is if you're doing more advanced stuff like grain to grain transfers or something. If you follow the PF Tek you'll be fine.
I'm a little nervous because I don't have a PC, I've got an autoclave
But I've never used it for jars so I'm not sure what settings to run it at Hope I don't make popcorn

What settings do you have? If it's got an automatic fast pressure release make sure it's disabled (rapid pressure release will make the water in your jars boil violently and they'll dry out). Other than that autoclaves are awesome.
