looks like the same problem i had, it could be because the ph is too low, but im not completely sure. it wouldnt hurt to raise the ph a wee bit

I would suggest lightening up on your nutrient solution. This should also help bring your pH up a bit, since all the nutrient solutions I've come across are fairly acidic.

Are the stems on those leaves purple or red?

You have a phosphorus deficiency. Since you have been using a nutrient supplement that has a good level of phosphorus that might mean you have excess amounts of iron and zinc. Excess amounts of iron and zinc lock up your phosphates. Acidic soil aggravates the phosphorus deficiency even more, so keep it within the 6.0-7.0 range. Sucks that I couldnt get to this thread earlier but you need to flush your soil.

I agree that he should flush the medium asap But, he is using coco/perlite mix so he should go for a ph of 5.8 like mentioned above he is keeping between 5.5-6.0

hey guys, thanks for the advice. ive been testing the runoff over the last two weeks and initially the plants showing the worst problems had the lowest ph runoff. starting with water at 6.0 ph the runoff came out as low as 4.3 in the extreme case. the plants showing no problems had a runoff of around 5.5-6. i am working with multiple strains. some showing no issues and others obviously having problems. the purples having the most problems.
i've been flushing them with a light nutrient solution + calmag until the runoff is around 6.0. (they were getting no calmag supplement before). the runoff at this point is fairly stable around 5.8-6.1 with all the plants. most of the plants greened up nicely but still show some rusty spots and minor yellowing. one plant is still getting worse. i dont have pictures today, i might tomorrow.
I should also mention they are in 3gallon pots being hand watered/fed every other day sometimes every day if i am available. they are not on any kind of automated feeding system. they are now on week 5.
Thanks again for the interest, i'll try to keep you guys updated more often.
