Sex : Flowering : Flowering Time : yeild: second, what do i do if i get a male? and how can i tell its a male? do i have to clone it, i dont really want to just throw it away. third how do i tell if the seed is good or not (if i use bagseed)

Sex: will tell you if this is a feminized or standard seed Flowering: Not sure here, maybe optimal veg time? Flowering time: is the average amount of time it takes to harvest from the time you switch to your flowering light schedule. Yield: is the average yield for that strain (usually in g/m^2)
If you get a male and you're not using it for breeding (to get seeds) then you destroy it so it doesn't pollinate the females in your grow.
Common traits of good seeds are: brown or tiger striped seeds with an intact hull; green seeds are immature and can be problematic.

Usually tells you if the plant flowers due to photoperiod, or if it's autoflower.

Photoperiod flowering means you have to give the plants 12 hrs of light and 12 hrs of dark to flower.
Autoflowering means they will flower when they want to no matter the light dark schedule.

It's almost a 90% chance they'll be female.

I don't think that question makes a lot of sense. Each strain you come across will, generally, have varying photo-sensitivity. Meaning that the plant reacts differently to different amounts of light/dark. This is important for transitioning to flowering from vegetative growth and for re-vegging the plant after flowering. If you are a real snob i suppose you could match up your strain with it's native growing environment. By that I mean if you are growing a hindu kush strain you'd want to look up the light / dark period of the hindu kush area of Afghanistan/Pakistan to see what the plant had in its native environment. MOST people use something like an 18/6 light/dark for vegging and 12/12 for flowering. Some people also keep their lights on 24 hours a day in vegetative growth. That's all debatable stuff though.

just gather up plenty of knowledge before you even start. Then actually start by acquiring all the materials you need. Spend some time participating in the cultivation section and reading at your leisure. I can tell you that it is really satisfying to have a decent amount of knowledge about cannabis and its cultivation. I say that about myself, but there is still SOOOOOO much to learn. The hobby goes as deep as you take it. The more time and focused thought you apply toward it the better your end results will be, and that's what its all about.
