What's your favorite beer?

I guess I'm kind of a beer snob, I can't stand those cheap watered down lagers. I recently quit drinking hard alcohol, but still love a couple IPA's from time to time. My favorite beer's are New belgium Ranger my favorite IPA
and New Belgium's seasonal, Skinny Dip is pretty dank.
Whats your favorite?

Never tried it, heard good things though. I usually don't get a lot of chances too try many different types of beer since all my friends drink coors light So for me its either New Belgium or my bro's homeade brew. Can't wait to brew my own beer, hopefully soon if I get some money.

QFT haha Been a while since I tried Sam Adams but it wasn't bad. Homeade beer is sooo dank, can't wait to do it myself then thats probably all I will drink for alcohol haha I've made my own liquor a bunch of times and it is pretty good also, moonshine FTW

I'm a beer snob as well. Pliny the Elder is probably my fav. Followed closely by all the other incredible DIPA's out there.
I'm a brewery rat so I'm always tasting new beers. Lately I've really been getting into sour ales barrel aged in old wine barrels. A few breweries are doing it but Vinnie Cilurzo over at Russian River is the master. Supplication and Consecration are fucking killer brews.

Lol, that skunky taste is because that shitty beer was bottled in a green or clear bottle and got "lightstruck" usually from the fluorescent lights in the store, although just a short exposure to any light the beer in those bottles is ruined. Skunked beer is not a good thing.

i don't think we're talking about the same skunkiness, all Heineken tastes like that its the distinct taste, not a bad skunky like when i drink it it tastes like dank bud at times, which is fuckin great to me!!

Hmm I don't know man. Here's the definition of skunked beer which happens to beer bottled in green or clear bottles. I've drunk kegged Heineken and it wasn't skunky at all. Same deal with Newcastle. But hey if you enjoy it that's all that matters.
"Lightstruck, or "skunked", beer has been exposed to ultraviolet and visible light. The light causes riboflavin to react with and break down isohumulones, a molecule that contributes to the bitterness of the beer and is derived from the hops. The resulting molecule, 3-methylbut-2-ene-1-thiol, is very similar chemically and in odour to the musk-borne mercaptans that are a skunk's natural defences."

lol well that does make sense because i remember hearing that the brown bottles block the light, i do like the skunky flavor tho so guess it works out nicely, thats the main reason why i like it lol so i guess if it was in brown bottles i wouldns like it as much
