 will a doctor deny me benzos?

i need something for anxiety, like its gotten so bad that i cant get any sleep and i have horrible days. i just cant enjoy life with this going on. but if my doctor asks if i smoke weed, is he going to deny me meds because of my recreational use of drugs?

possibly... my doc right now says some of my anxiety issues are due to me smoking... which makes no sense to me because mmj people use it to help ease anxiety (but he hasnt taken me off of my kpins this other doc put me on so i dont know)
id just lie and tell em you dont smoke

well i certainly know my axiety isnt due to me smoking, because i havent smoked in a while.
im still debating on whether i should tell him or not.

It works differently for different people. Smoking can cause anxiety attacks for a lot of people.

it probably wouldnt be wise to tell them. they will instantly assume the weed is causing your anxiety, and just tell you to stop getting high

well i went in there for a physical. and found out i might have fucking skuliosis or whatever.
then i asked if this was anxiety, doctor said maybe but got me an EKG. EKG said i have early repolarization. so waiting for my doctor to tell me what i can do for it. hope i dont die or anything.

Scoliosis and early repolarization.
Early repolarization represented on a ECG could be nothing or could also be very serious. I assume you got or are getting additional testing? Definitely something you want to follow up on.
I'd also do a little research online in the mean time if I were you.
I assume he didn't give you anything for anxiety yet then?
I have an anxiety panic disorder that seemed to appear out of nowhere in my early 20's. Freaked me the fuck out and scared the shit out of me until I knew what was going on and later how to deal with it.
I had a hard time dealing with doctors on that. The first one wrote me a script for Klonopins to last until I could see another doctor more specialized who took me off of the Klonopins which when taken as needed completely solved the issue for me. Instead that doc and every doc since has wanted to put me on various SSRI's. They don't even seem to hear me when I tell them those are the last thing I need. They make me much worse and I've given a few a fair try.
I've given up with the docs on that issue. Fortunately I have a good hookup for way more Klonopin than I'll ever need to wash away the occasional anxiety attack. I have not had an outright panic attack in years now.
I wish you the best in getting to the root of your health issues. Work with your doc and find a better one if time proves necessary but also do your own research to keep yourself well informed on the issues that affect you.

well after my actual doctor takes a look at it, and sees what he thinks ill find out. but as of now i have no idea whats gonna happen next. i cant seem to find much exept, its bad or good and alot of scientific things which i dont get.
i got nothing for anxiety, but i think that its from this early reolarization.

Another thing to think about if you tell the doc that you smoke, he will put it your file and every other doc will see it, and if you are like me it is a hassle when trying to get treatment for things. It is in my file that I am a recovering meth and coke head, so they are scared of prescribing me certain things like pain meds when I get hurt. I love speed not downers but they can not get that part. I have to fight almost every time I go to the docs and it makes it so I never want to see them because of it.

Your doc is going to know anyway from your blood work etc...
It pays to research everything your doc tells you and shop for one better suited to your situation if needed.

he'll know if its serious from blood work?
well i know family friend who is a cardiologist. hes good, and real nice. i used to be best friends with his son. so i might give him a call once i figure more out.

I just went to a shrink a few days ago for my Anxiety that I'm getting from coming off opiates, the woman asked me basically about my entire life and my drug use, I told her I had tried every drug basically but it was never my thing. She asked if I had a big group of friends for support, I told her they all started doing heroin so I cut off contact and basically just had one best friend left. Then when she asked about my marijuana use I told I smoked some once when my anxiety first started and it helped with it, She chuckled like ya ya I know or something...but I told her I don't smoke and have never had a drug problem, when in reality im a recovering heroin addict. Then she tells me "well I feel ok giving you a scrip for Klonopin because you dont have a history of drug abuse, take 1mg before bed and .5mg during the day as needed. Also gave me some Trazadone for sleep. But she always of course gave me an SSRI claiming it will magically fix my anxiety while only turning me into a zombie as a side effect. So I'm not taking the SSRI, going to tell her it doesn't help at all and hopefully get to the point where she will just be content giving me kpins. SO my advice to anybody going to a doc for any meds is to lie your ass off and tell them exactly what they want to hear. You a sober, bible reading, law biding citizen who cant even pronounce the drugs name... Kla...klonopion? what are you giving me again? muhahahahah

Well said Lucid, like I said I told my doc that I am a recovering addict and it is a fight to get almost anything. I am not a big fan of Trazadone, it makes me groggy as hell when I wake up and I hate having to fight myself to wake up.
