No problem. It's clear after that last post that he is perfectly capable of trolling himself, so my services are no longer needed. See you in 102 days buddy.

Well, back to the topic. Has anyone read a book called Conversations on Consciousness by Sue Blackmore? It's a pretty easy read too. Very good and very thought provoking.

I like to read.
Currently reading Lolita by Nabokov.
Just finished The Trial by Kafka which was pretty sweet.
My favorite author however is Howard Phillips Lovecraft, some of you guys might like some of his stories, most of them are quite short. He had a pretty interesting life also. Definitely worth a read.
This is the opening paragraph to 'The Call of Cthulhu'
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far. The sciences, each straining in its own direction, have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the deadly light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

The Cthulhu Mythos is some amazing stuff, and even today, still comes across as both strange and innovative.
Now if only someone could do his work justice in a film adaptation
