I expected to be out of this tourney after the second hand, but as fate has it, I'm still grinding away.

I had some weird tweeker knock on my door at 1am. That was a bit odd. I had an ax in my hand though.
I am going to have to get myself a new shotgun. This neighborhood is a bit sketch

i had a guy jump over my back fince and lay down on my back porch and like 2 mintutes after a bunch of cops came jumping over the fence and attacked the dude and put him in handcuffs. It was fucking creepy as shit, but i guess thats what happens in houston. Had another guy walk down the street pointing his gun at every house. i no longer live their, but you reminded me. my grandmother had to sleep with a gun under her pillow.

I am glad I live on the 3rd floor. It would be pretty hard for someone to rob me successfully.
It was a pain in the ass getting all the furniture up 3 floors though

Of course. no way I could have done it on my own
My buddy with a truck gave me a hand. I offered to take him to the Cowboys/Cardinals game with me on Christmas day. That game is going to be sick.

A shotgun is a terrible weapon for self-defense. Get a handgun.

Why do you say that? Just takes one shot within fairly close range with a shotty
You got to hit them with the handgun. I say get both

I'd grab whichever was closer. I'm a pretty decent shot so I'd grab the shotty and have the pistol tucked in my waste or something.

ive got a long stick next to my bed i can use. and there's a hatchet somewhere around here too. I should probably invest in my self defense weapons. I've never had a need for any weapons in my life before though. But if i ever get a wife and kids then i'll step up my game.

My brow is definitely furrowed at the stick comment. That made me laugh for some reason. Just fuckin with you man. I do however feel like home defense should be a priority. Plus I just like guns But seriously, I do feel like you should be responsible if you do own firearms. The only time they leave the house is if I'm going to shoot them at the range or something or out in the country at a buddy of mine's house. But if you have family, you should definitely have them I believe. I just got them a little early.
But seriously, a stick ain't gonna do shit against a 12 guage or a .45. Just facts man.

oh i know. i was just messin around with that statement, although it is true. But I've never lived in a house outside of my parents house (and they never owned firearms either). In the apartment i live in now it's basically a hotel with quite a bit of security to get in here, so i feel safe atm. 28 years without ever pulling the trigger on a firearm. I am happy about that.

I personally have them just to protect the homefront and I do like target shooting a lot too. Shit's fun.
Means nobody has a problem with you if you haven't had to pull the trigger. Must be a pretty cool guy.
