Where did you get that pix.
It looks more like a painting of a planetary nebula than an actual photo of one

The universe and earth and everything are like....everything...I dunno man. I think society in general should take care of it better, myself included, but that's an argument for another time.

Yeah, all the universes are really cool from what i can imagine and have seen. I laugh when people talk about UFO's. I don't need any convincing that there is life outside of earth. There are an infinite number of realities, universes and Earths. There's an infinite number of everything. that's just my opinion. But seriously, I think the same pictures that we are getting from hubble could also be generated from looking within. We just don't have the capability to dive that far down into the heart of the atom.

I think there's like outside of earth too, no doubt. I wouldn't be surprised if the government knows it too. People would flip the fuck out if the gov. held a press conference one day like, "Hey, we got aliens." Some people would lose it. I'd just be like whatever. Kinda goes back to that indifference thread, know what I mean? I personally think we are so far inferior to other life it's insane too.

Yeah, i feel ya on that. We aren't inferior to all life external to this earth, i dont think. All that is is a reflection of how long a civilization has been able to maintain itself. Life is like fractals. The farther down you go you realize how little you've gone and how much there is to this. It's infinite. So imagine that within the tiniest of atom there is an infinite number of universes inside of it. that's inside of every atom in the universe. That's really unimaginable stuff. But inside one of those universes is a world where Coaster is the leader of the world and he's trying to rule it while there are dinosaurs running around trying to steal his drugs! But really if you can think like that your imagination will free up like never before.

I can see that. The Coaster part was funny That seems about right for him. My world would be chill. No crazy shit going on. Well, maybe a little bit just to keep things exciting.

I was thinking about taking a small mushroom trip later tonight. I have an idea for a book i've been wanting to write ever since I moved into these apartments I'm living in. I think that a mushroom trip is the perfect thing to help the ideas flow through me. This apartment complex is basically an old folks home. I see the ambulance here usually 3 or 4 times a month. One of my neighbors has died, she was 93, and my next door neighbor is in his 80's and near deaf. But i was wanting to use those characters and a few more in it. It's basically going to be about a guy like me who moves into a place like this and starts helping all these old people deal with their anxiety about death through psychedelic trips with mushrooms. But i want to write it in a mainstream kind of way so that it could actually be published at some point. But like i said ive been toying with the ideas for a few years now. a trip is probably something that would help me. sorry for the off topic rant. it happens sometimes.
edit: I will also add that i am completely sober today/right now. But thats about to change.

Count me in as well. I'd love reading that.
This thread reminds me of one of my all time fav books.
Definitely a must read for anyone interested in this thread.
Non fiction btw but you won't care if you read it. You will appreciate the fact.
The book is Coming of Age in the Milky Way By Timothy Ferris.
I am in awe of this guys ability to take on the overall understanding of science and his ability to combine and relate it all to your everyday subgenius intellectual minded person. This book turns some really advanced learning into an enjoyable read. That alone is a great accomplishment imo.
I literally have thousands of books and this is one of few that I definitely will be rereading.

Those look cool too. I may check them out sometime. I enjoy that sort of stuff too. Thanks.
My book recommendation though was related more to the origin of this thread.
It can seriously help most anyone understand and appreciate heavy insights into time, space, matter etc... in a very comprehensible way that is enjoyable to read vs the typical text book type drudgery.
