Here's some hash I picked up from a dispensary here in MI. I think they are both from the same Thai kiff, just pressed differently.
4.7g of some dark hard pressed
and about 1.5g of some blond kiff
I should have taken pics earlier, there was 14g of the dark!

What is the story with dispensaries in MI? I'm a patient in Cali and would like to know how they compare.

well, they are technically "compassionate care clubs" as allowed by the state, they are required to charge a subscription fee but how much is up to the club owners. There are only a few legit ones, professional atmosphere, Compassionate Apothecary in Mt. Pleasant and Green Market in Okemos come to mind. The others are pushing the law a little hard, the owners are not business types, they're begging to be shut down. One of them already was, well the owner got nabbed with large qty(100-200lbs), they left his personal allotment of 12 plants and left his 'church' (smoke club) open.
Now there is a line in the law that says no one can be prosecuted for helping a registered patient obtain medicine. That would seem to absolve anyone of any trafficking charge if they aren't selling more than the patient/caregiver can carry.
There is a measure on the november ballet in the city of Detroit to legalize MJ for adults, not too sure of the details though. If it goes through, that would be very nice 
I think the same is true for the state of Cali?

that sure would change the market atmosphere. I hope the people doing the big medical grows can still afford it if it all goes above ground.
