Zappa is a legend.

Zappa is one of my favorite musicians of all time. He was a fucking Genius.
-My Favorites that have not yet been posted (I love all the songs that were already posted- "Zappa's a bit like AIDS, you either get it or you dont, and once you've got it there's no going back" Joe's Garage
(Reminds me of getting drunk chilling with garage bands)
Titties and Beer
Inca Roads
Wet T-shirt Nite
I think that's enough videos for one post.

Zappa live was probably the best, but for anyone under like 35-40 we just have albums.
Think of it this way. Get rid of your TV, get rid of you phone, get rid of your computer. Grab an album, throw it on and just chill with some buds. Not only was the music different, but people didn't do the same things when they hung out. I mean even 10 years ago most of my friends didn't have cell phones, and we just sat around listening to CD's probably playing xbox. These days everyone is doing that with their faces buried in their phones.
In no way is anyone required to enjoy Zappa though, but Zappa is so progressive no two albums are really the same.

idk man, zappa sucks, sorry. I just think he cannot perform live after watching several videos. it just sounds like a bunch of instruments without synchronization being hammered on

That sounds like a single side of the "zappa."
Some of his songs might be the most hilarious things I've ever heard musically, and some of them paint a picture very well in your mind. "Bobby Brown Goes Down" "Don't you eat that yellow snow" "Crew Slut" and "Stink Foot" are all hilarious, and songs like "Joes Garage" are just works of art. He was a musical genius though, and he played a bicycle on live T.V. as a musical instrument.
Different strokes for different folks though.

Yeah, but then people have to go off-site to view the video, and it's a slight pain in the ass. Anyway:

No shit? I just tried it, and it worked for me this time. The problem was I was copying the video url instead of the regular web URL, I guess. Thanks!
