I love the numbers they come up with for the value of their bust. I saw a report one time when this kid got nailed with and 8 ball of coke and they said it was a 1000 dollar bust and me and my friends were laughing our asses. They do this so like Mr Heady said to make themselves look better and to get more money from the fed to fight this stupid war on drugs(more like war on freedom) and if it is around election time it is a plus for them so they can say to those who do not know better, look we are doing our job

I don't know. The figure isn't too exagerated if they actually got 17,000 plants, works out to about $1750 per plant to come up with the $30mil.
But hell yeah they are going to make it seem alot bigger than it is, especially because it is an election year. Somebody should watch the variation in food consuption in the area, and see how much the bastards kept to "personally destroy".

Dude, 30 million divided by 17 thousand is $1765.00 per plant. If they were large plants you could expect to get around a half pound dried bud. If the bud was high grade you can expect a half pound to fetch between $1200-$2000 dollars easily. That figure is surprisingly accurate

they have since found another 40000 plants in the same area and arrested a elderly mexixan man and his wife who claim the cartel made him do it by kidnapping his family member

I have heard stories like those come out of cali, they make these people do this because they have their family members held in Mexico, and it is kind of the do this or else thing

I wish the US would just deploy to Mexico and kill everyone in a cartel (I know they can't really get EVERYONE but they can sure as hell at lest try).

This is another good reason to legalize it across the board, if they could not make money on it, then the cartels would not bother with it. If they would legalize it then everyone would be able to get it cheaper and even grow their own and help out friends to grow their own and then they could not make much if any money on it.
