I was just using promix as an example. I usually buy 30litre bags of good quality soil.
I usually use Promix outdoors but have used it indoors vegging plants before going outdoors.

brown spotted leaves = Mn or K deficiency? Deficiencies can also be caused from lockout so maybe a flush could be in order.
N burn literally makes the leaf tips look burnt.

I think mine are starting to do the same thing and I have suspected them have N overdose for a while now. I have some very dark leaves in the middle and at the bottom. I keep looking for some bug action but nothing?

Coda say's its N burn.
Actually I said it looks like N toxicity. Problem is an over load of nitrogen will lead to a lockout of K which will will then rip through your fan leaves and kill them off.
Dealing with a straight deficiency is easy since all your plant wants is more food. Dealing with a lockout is slightly different. In this case if the nutrient is being locked out, IE not absorbed, feeding it more just exacerbates the problem. Since the plant can not not uptake the nutes it needs feeding it more wont help, first you need to "unlock" the root system so the plant can absorb what it needs again.
So you need to go through a good flush and let your plant use up the excess N and then supplement a feeding or two of something with a high P/K ratio. The brown spots won't repair, but once you unlock your plant and start feeding it what it wants you won't see any new damage.

Last two watering's I have used straight distilled water and watered until approximately %30 of the water used went out the bottom of the container. is this enough or should I do more?
A solid flush involves watering your plant with three times the volume of your container of water. So, if you have a 1 gallon container, 3 gallons of water poured through it would be a solid flush. I don't know where THC got that little bit over a course of a day, I've always done the whole thing at once. Water until the container is about to overflow, then let it drain, and repeat until all water is finished.

or are you suggesting to mix the LW with my FFOF.

go heavier on the soiless stuff maybe a 60/40 or 70/30 mix of LW/Perlite to FFOF

Like this,,,If so all my plant's leave tips look like this.
I didn't notice that, coda is most likely spot on with N toxicity the very dark green foliage is a give away also. I'd hazard to guess you have an Mn or K deficiency possibly from getting locked out from the excessive N as Coda mentioned. I've had N burn before and as far as I can recall never followed by Mn or K deficiencies.
