why do i hide the fact that i smoke weed from my family

its perfectly okay for everyone to get drunk 2 or 3 times a week, but when i want to get high i have to hide in the garden while everyone is in bed and smoke like a ninja stoner :ninjalike:

i might wait untill ive started college again, have another part time job and when im paying them rent.

the most annoying thing is how little they actually know about cannabis. :facepalm:

Some people think that since booze is legal it is okay and since weed is not then it has to be bad, plus how the government has tried to hide the truth about it for so long. Cigs are legal and far worse on your system too. My parents just would not except it no matter what even when I would point out some people who are successful have done it so those damn films must have been lieing about it. Some people just will not open their minds, but this should not discourage you from trying to inform others the truth and you just have to remember that not everyone can handle the fact that their government or religion would not be truthful about things.

Everybody in my family pretty much knows. Cept for a couple people maybe. The one's I'm closest to and see all the time know though. Smoked with my dad when I was very young. Same ever since. Actually been out for like 4 or 5 days and one of his friends just hooked me up with a little bit. Been trying to get my Grandma to try it for her authritis and stress and all that (lots of stress in my family, trust). She asked for my bowl one night before I went to work, said she didn't, but I swear there was a little less in that bowl after work when I got back. But yeah, to whoever started this thread, just tell them when it comes up, at a party where they're drinkin or something, but ease into it, know what I'm sayin? Be respectful about it of course, but they may be more open than you think. :shrug:

I had a dream last night that i sat next to my dad in out living room and lit up a joint right there and smoked it in front of him and he didnt care.... it was nice.

Both of my parents know I smoke weed, my mom doesnt like it but she isnt going to try to stop me, but my dad fucking hates it, he said if he caught me doing it im out of the house. So I have to be all sneaky and shit and go outside to toke when they're crashed out. Fucking sucks,but oh well maybe I can use that as motivation to move out of there house :lol:

The fucked up thing though, is they're both are addicted to tobacco.

Me and my girl gotta hide smokin from her pops. Her lil brother knows we smoke and doesn't care but her dad is a dick about it. SOMETIMES he doesn't care but that's not often. So we gotta Ninja Smoke as well. At least in the room we do.

it depends with me, while im smoking i like to be away from people i dont know, but once i finished smoking and im blazed i like to be around people. it depends how im feeling.

i still enjoy sollitude when i smoke sometimes, its nice just to relax, which is hard when you got to chat to people about dumb shit.
