 Girlfriend problems.

so my girlfriend told me to stop smoking weed beacause its ilegal. i sad no.
Now she says im choosing marijuana over her and making a big deal out of this.
i dont want to stop just because its ilegal, i told her to tell me to quit when she has a good reason, cause fuck that im not gonna quit just cause its ilegal. i mean what if my religion was ilegal, id still fucking practice it. ITs not interfering with my life at all, and i only do it a couple of times a month if even that.
what do you think growery?

If this ever happened to me I would leave her man. Weed and drugs are a HUGE part of my life, not just doing them but researching, and discussing them with other people too. It seems like she can't respect your decision to smoke, and is trying to force you to give it up for her, thats pretty selfish and I wouldn't be suprised if she attempted this for other issues in your relationship as well.
And If I was you I wouldn't attempt hiding the fact that you smoke either, because if you can't be honest about who you really are to your own girlfriend you just weren't meant to be together.

Some solid truth there.
My girlfriend asked me to stop smoking a while back, and I just blatantly told her that's pretty much just not an option, though I agreed to not partake in the smoke (at least as much) while she was around. That was a few months ago and since that she has even started smoking with me, only joints and not very often at all, but its a start.
I actually just had to roll up 4g's into joints because she is taking 3 of her friends down to the beach for the weekend and they are going to try it for the first time themselves.
Just try to not smoke around her and maybe even suggest she tries it with you when she's comfortable  I have found its only brought me and my girlfriend closer since she has discovered its not as bad as she thought.

you could asked her to do some research, maybe then she will understand its really not that big of a deal. belive it or not i actually used to think weed was a bad thing untill i did my own research.

A lil compromise can't hurt....hell if she really loves you she'll meet you half way and if you love her like you say you do then cuttin back shouldn't even be a question. But if you really only smoke a few times a month she shouldn't care. I just wouldn't light up around her. Sounds like she just needs to read some REAL un-biased literature on mj.

If you are goona quit smoking, do it for yourself. Not cause a girl told you too. If she loves you then she will accept it. That doesn't mean she has to like it, but accept it because that's you.

yeah i got what you guys are saying, and i told her this.
I made her quit drugs a while back, but thats because she was mad addicted to painkillers and pills. shed take like 15 vicodin at a time, and not feel much. it started to control her. she still says that if i get to smoke weed, then she can do pills and im like fuck that your gonna OD.

She's trying to control you. And if she's gonna use her addictive habits has a pawn then you don't need that. Pills hurt the body way more than some weed. I use mj to keep from taking my pain killers.

i know dude, shes not all that bad though.
i try to talk some sence into her. i told her im more than happy to let her try weed.
and if i get ahold of mushrooms, id let her try those too.
I got ahold of some dank ass bud once, im sure it was sativa. best shit ever had and she thought she was dieing. so i need to get her an indica.
