Just finished watching Moulin Rouge again, which is like the greatest movie ever. 
So just thinking and pondering about absinthe.
Did you ever have it?

Well, you'd have to obtain some Gran(d) Absinthe...which has the actual ingredients that make it more than just a strong liqueur.
I think you'd have to brew it yourself.

I think one of the ingredients is wormwood. I know I have seen things on how to make it, I keep thinking that there was a post in the shroomery if I remember right.

I have it, its ok but not my favorite. You can order the legit stuff from liquers de france if you want, its expensive and basically gets you drunk. Id rather have a fine mezcal myself.

Absinthe is pretty good, I'd recommend it especially if you like jagermeister(closest taste comparison)

We got them for my buddy's 21st, had them make them at the bar old school style.. the drip water over a sugar cube and set it on fire or some shit.
Taste like black licorice. I thought it tasted awful and didnt think it was all that strong either

It can definitely be challenging. Especially when you mess up once and then you have to figure out what part of your procedure could have possibly caused the contaminants
