The games rules can be complex IMO, if anyone is really interesting in learning about it, the best way is to play with the hardcore nerds.

I think I know almost every ability that exists.
Landwalk I'm a little fuzzy on.
I also understand the stack and order of turns unlike many.
my ride left early so I had to leave. I was doing ok but whatever. Blue book value of the cards I got exceeds the entry fee.

Its all about the collecting anyway.

When looking up rule you want to play type 2. It consist of only the newest cards so it takes intelligent people to win. There is of course other types that allow you to play with the older cards(meaning everyone you play against has a cookie cutter blow your face off deck) and not have any originality.
Landwalk is a simple one. If you own a land that they have landwalk for you can't block them.
I play online for free. This season has shit for land destruction cards. Therefor I'm sitting this one out cause its my favorite style of play.
It's pretty far into the season and there are some really powerful cards so expect alot of cookie cutters.

Oh shit new set pre release!
Might be time to tear some shit up. I'm no match for all the 12 year olds that play.
Anyways, best time to play is right now mofos.
T2 anyone I'll melt your face.
I'm seriously downloading the software and all the cards right now. I'm that much of a MTG nerd.
My plan for the rest of the weekend(if the new cards are out) is to read every new card, make a deck, tweak it to be unbeatable.
Then I quit playing.
Pretty much how it happens at least once a year for me. I get this weird craving.

My oldest son just got a whole bunch of cards from one of his uncles, he is wanting to get rid of them to put towards new computer

I build my own and you can do a system like alienware for about half the price doing it your self.
Mine keep in mind it id a couple of years old now but can still play anything out.

he does have alot of money, i forget the other games he has. But he gets sneek preview of games sometimes because our uncle is a game tester.
