i lost my roofing job 3 years ago in Florida to (well say Mexicans or Cubans)
1 guy was legal and his buddys weren't.

and us 3 guys worked as hard if not harder and fast as them and we can understand wtf we were saying to each other.......not pointing at somthing and yelling U NEED TO DO (FIX) THIS 25 times then doing it to show them......

idk for the illegals but like my wife's grandfather who has been legal for 55 years and worked in a meatpacking company paying taxes, registered to vote, and raised 14 kids in the states while married to a show singer for the Springfield mass MOB.. thats good!!

what he got fined for was he knowingly knew that he had illegals working under his so-called contractor.. cous that how ppl were tryin gto get around it.. higher 1 legal while he pays his buddys.. still the same thing as he was paying them.

It was meant to be a joke so lighten up on this. And where does it say one thing against immigration? You can look at it in any way you want but most of you seem to think that it is a slam on immigration, to others it might be part of why this is such a great country. This was not put up to fuel the fire that is going on in the job thread.

Now with that being said DING DING Round 2 lol.

Here is what I think and I know the shit storm is going to start. If you want to come here there is a process to do so, and I will have more respect for those that do it that way. You ask those who did it the right way and they feel the same. A lot of the money they make gets sent back to their families(where ever they are) instead of fueling our economy. I also believe that if you come to the U.S. then learn our language, if I go to your country I would have to learn yours right.

The thing is, doing it the right way can be up to a 10 year process for some, and they just aren't willing ot wait that long. I believe they should not be able to cross the border, but at the same time, I have a couple friends that are illegal mexicans, and they are really good guys.

This problem no matter which way we look at it has no simple solution. I know this. We got to just sit back and laugh sometimes guys and let it slide. Is there not bigger problems to deal with. I find it funny that the minute it was brought up in a couple of threads we all instantly look and sound like the people in those debates we see when ever this or other hot topic issues get brought up. in the words of Rodney King "can`t we all just get along" and I will add smoke a bowl too

I am with you there brother. My friend found it or someone sent it to him but it was meant to be a joke but can go either way. This like many topics in our country has no simple, easy answer. We are founded by immigration.
