 Should I fertilize during rainy periods?

A friend and I have an outdoor grow going on this summer and I am wanting to start fertilizing them on a regular basis.
It has been raining all week and it is going to continue raining for a while. Almost all of our plants are in the ground. There are 7 smaller plants in pots and 13 bigger ones in the ground.
I fertilized them a few times already. But now I just wonder if I should wait until the ground dries up. It will be a while before they need watering, I just don't want to waste time.

I came here looking for information regarding this exact issue, and all I found was this post. I was hoping there would be knowledgeable users on this site to help with questions more advanced than seedlings. I guess that's as far as anyone has gotten... maybe I will look for another site.

I would suggest not over watering them for the sake of fertilizing. Maybe mix some organic nitrogen sources into the soil around the plants so that the next rain fertilizes them?

Well when you are dealing with rain, you have no control over how much water the plants get. Did you guys even read the question?
