Yeah I've hung out with this old british guy before and that's all he would smoke. It's amazing how hilarious someone becomes if you put on a thick british accent on them.

Whether or not I smoke a spliff really depends on who it is, and whether or not I have had a shitty day.

A good 75%/25% weed/tobacco ratio works really well i think. Makes the joint burn better and it makes your weed last longer. I only use American Spirit in my joints aswell.
However, when i see people putting 50/50 weed/tobacco in, or even worse more tobacco than weed, it makes me want to slap them.

For me, tobacco in a joint makes it more harsh, and I just can't enjoy smoking tobacco. it just makes me feel like shit and like i want too puke :projectile:

i know alot . . .

alot of herbs are too strong to enjoy by themselves thats why people smoke blends. elephants head buds and skullcap are great ones for mixing with cannabis

good base herbs for your mix are mullein, marshmallow leaf, damania, kinnikkinik, Manzanita, coltsfoot and willow bark. these are too strong to enjoy by themselves though. so you need to add secondary herbs and flavoring herbs to make them enjoyable.

Flavoring herbs are like the sages, mints and aromatic herbs and roots like chamomile. these are also too strong to smoke alone so you need to mix with a base herb.

If you add lobelia to your mixes (no more than 1 tspoon per ounce of other herbs its very strong herb) it can help greatly with quitting tobacco smoking also. it has lobeline in it which your body thinks is nicotine.

you have to make sure the blend is nice and fluffy consistancy with finely chopped pieces, and it has to be moist too.

experiment with the moisture levels. . . use tiny amounts of water and honey, fruit skins/slices in a plastic bag with your herbs. find out how moist you like it. you can also just put the blend in a wooden box of paper bag if you made it a little too moist :jah:

i'm currently enjoying a brair pipe with a damania, sage and mint blend. it is a very deep relaxing smoke.

it burns too fast for me when its mixed with tobacco and i just dont like the taste of it. but if i was a tobacco smoker it would probably be a different story.

you realize how much better a weed tastes than tobacco when you smoke a pure herb joint compared to a herb and tobacco joint. but its probably personal preference :awebig:

I hate tobacco more than anyone in my circle of friends. I'm one of the only ones who doesn't smoke cigarettes. I've just always put a small amount of tobacco in joints as its just what everyone else i know does. It's just common practice where i'm from (UK). Most the people in Europe mix with tobacco aswell.

But i think you guys have inspired me. I'm gonna skin up a pure one right now! :cool:
