Hydro Growers: 1. Are you growing from seed or clones? Seeds 2. How old are your plants? 2 months or so 3. How tall are your plants? around 1 foot 4. What type of hydro system are you using? DWC 5. What brand/type of nutrients are you using? B C 6. What is the Ph of your nutrient solution? 5.8-6 7. What is the PPM/EC of your tap water? I use reverse osmosis 8. What is the PPM/EC of your nutrient solution? 1370 9. What is the temperature of your nutrient solution? 10. Does your PPM/EC show a rise or fall when you do your daily PPM check? no 11. Does your pH show a rise or fall when you do your daily check? no 12. Do you foliar feed or spray your plants with anything? yes 13. What kind of lights do you use and how many watts combined? (HPS, MH, fluorescent, halogen, incandescent "plant lights") CFL 14. How close are your lights to the plants? 2.5 feet about 15. What size is your grow space in square feet? probably 18-20 16. What is the temperature and humidity in your grow space? low 80'sF 17. Have you noticed any insect activity in your grow space? IDK!?? 18. How much experience do you have growing? None before this
WTF I thought I had fucking mites or something and so I sprayed them down using the second recipe here. The next day I look at my plants and they look like fucking shit! I got a ton of white stuff now on one of my plants for what ever reason, my leaves dried out and shriveled, and I'm about to have a heart attack. I even waited the 20 minutes and sprayed the plants down with pure osmosis water afterwards.

Your ppm is on the extreme side. Some plants can handle that much but others can't. I suggest maybe lowering it a tad and see how things work out.
I heard high air flow helps keep mites and powders at bay. I've been lucky enough to not see either but I have alot of fans.

The white stuff on the leaves is what I am pretty sure is residue fyi. I have a 40 gallon reservoir if that adds any info. Only about 5 days into flowering.
How long do you guys think it will take for my plants to recover? I'm panicking because I have no idea how much I just fucked my plants...

I suggest you flush out the plants for a day or two and as stated above, lower the nutrient solution strength and work on finding the threshold for your plants. -2cents

I just took out about 3 gallons and replaced it with fresh filtered water and the ppm is now about 1270.
BTW the ppm did not change after spraying with that shit solution so it didn't get in my reservoir. Also it happened over night. I had literally taken pictures last night but deleted them once I was done with them.

If you're growing under CFL's you may seriously want to consider dropping your PPM down below the 1000 level for a bit. In lower light situations plants can't handle high doses of food, eventually you'll lock your plants out and poison them pretty much with a nute overload.
In situations like this I would flush the plant out to remove any possible lockout situation and then feed with a light solution for a bit until the plants recover and up the dosage until you hit full strength again.

Damn, alright. It's probably going to have to take a few days thought because my reverse osmosis thing only stores about 2.5gallons at a time.
Thanks guys.

I've made up a foliar spray before and my plants leaves did sort of the same thing but alot more extreme.
All the leaves shriveled up and died. The plant bounced back just fine after being just twigs. It takes an awful lot to kill a plant
I vowed never to foliar spray again.

Yeh, I looked at my plants and aside from the dead shit I had to cut off they seemed to be fine.
