hermie questions

I was feeding one of my girls yesterday and I noticed some sacs on her. They were only on one branch about 4-6" long starting at the top working the way down. I just snipped it and carefully looked her over for other pollen sacs. One of the sacs had def burst so I'm sure she's done for. I don't know a lot about hermies, but I was under the impression that females won't hermie or at least show signs of it until flowering has begun. This is an outdoor grow....soooo flowering won't even begin until august for my gals. This is a first for me. Not sure if I should chop her or see what happens...I don't have any other plants in the general area...or even within miles of her so that's good. The only shitty part is it was a mother plant so I could wind up with more hermies on my hands. Oh yeah..the plant in my profile pic is the one that done hermied on my ass.
Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Well it's not a mother plant anymore. Showing signs of being a hermie in veg growth means it's gonna be pretty bad during flowering. Myself I'd get rid of the plant.

The plant isn't from top dollar genetics either (mandala's speed queen). I started off with 4 of them as mothers actually...so I'm hoping the other clones that I cut for my personal grow aren't all from this one mumma. With my luck they will be. I just feel bad for all the people we sold clones to. We started cloning in feb or march and sold a few hundred over the course of the spring. (Not all this strain) mandala's rooted the best and looked good so they sold well...there may be a shit ton of hermied out plants in my town come harvest time....guess the local growers will have me to blame for their seeded crop...haha. that does suck tho
Thanks for the feedback magash. Is there any chance you could elaborate on how things would get worse during flowering? You mean just a lotta seeds/pollen or something? Excuse my ignorance.

Why would you be selling clones from an untested mom?

What do you mean exactly? Are you asking why we did not fully flower a clone from each mother?
We just sexed them and selected the heathiest plants for mums. Didn't get too technical with it. It was a learning experience for me as it was. We sold clones to cover our expenses for the winter months and also for supplies needed for the coming grow season.

Ok, yeah I meant without flowering one to test the product. Every once in a while good genetics can throw a shit pheno at you.

Yeah pretty much. They will be fucked up as I'm sure you can figure out but they can fuck up any good plants that you may have around by seeding them and the seeds won't even be of any use cause they will have a good chance of being hermie themselves.
