    #438836 - 06/28/10 11:08 AM (14 years, 5 months ago)

Im having major issues with my grow and i got no idea what the hell to do.. I dont understand how my healthiest plant in my crap goes to my shittiest.  My trainwreck that was extremely healthy going into its 2nd week of flowering is now pretty much curled up into a ball and fuckin dead. It was very droopy saturday  the bucket was  dry so i figured it needed some water..  mixed up the same nute solution ive been using and then it went to shit.. any adcise incite anything would be nice..

I've had root rot in hempys also, if you have too much vermiculite or water more than they need it can definitely happen. Water once with Physan20 and then flush an hour later with some H202 and you'll be golden. Only water every other day for awhile so the roots can recover

Next I would look at your drainage hole, depending on container size if it's not placed properly it will stay full longer than it should when the plant can't use it quick enough.

that's your problem, 1.5" from the bottom on a 3gal container is way too much res space in my opinion. I only go about 3/4"-1" from the bottom in containers that size

woah.... hard to see what's going on with the roots with that shot but it looks to me like you killed it by tearing the roots apart like that, they should be in a firm little ball, not hanging loose like that. When I pull my plants out they form a perfect shape the container they were in. The first picture just looks like it needs some water   but you said you fed it on saturday? I'd say feed it again with a little H202 added and report back here in 6 hours

ya i had just went to area where I grow and  tried to shake the perilite from the roots. Ya I just basically deemed her dead thats why I took a pic of the roots. Thats how it looked saturday. I was thinking the exact same thing as you (it just needs water). another thing is when I watered her saturday it had been almost an entire week since I fed. the buckets have seemed to have held up well and havent been dropping in mositure( this is the reason I havent been feeding so much during the week to avoid root rot). It just baffles me how and why some of my plants are doing this? Im doing the exact same thing to all of them as far as feeding schedule and such. the kush is bigger than ever and looks very healthy.. I got 4 in veg ATM. two of them are huge and very healthy looking.  The other two look like hammered ass, The roots look like shit but the leaves are still perky.  Its just not growing in size been the same size for almost 3 weeks now.. Im stumped and getting very frustrated
