Hey hemo man, I like it, some songs could maybe use a little moar reverb imo. But its your band whatever sounds best to you guys! what do you use to record? I didnt listen to all of them but Silver spoons is nice. also I will stand up has a great solo. I really like Abrubtish Vibrofour its really good it stands out and I like the bass its soothing and the lead guitar sounds good and different, also the little bit of keyboards I hear and I think thats what did it. I think if you got a keyboardist playing simple chords with lots of delay the others wouldnt sound as "flat" if you know what I mean. Have fun at least, thats the whole point.

All recorded with a Fostex 8 track, then bounced into FL studio 8. These are all just for writing and composition purposes, we are going to rerecord and master them for a 5 song demo EP starting next week. Our bassist dropped his calc class so we have time.
rerecorded and mastered will sound 100% better. the arrangements are going to be a little different as well.
i also play the keys on Abruptish Vibrofour. we wrote that on ketamine. Theres some Minimoog on I will Stand Up, which is going to be titled "i will be your slave no more" after i finish all the vocals.
all rough tracks, but thank you for the comments and constructive criticism, keep it comin!
oh, and you know we be havin fun in da big easy my man!

Silver Spoons is groovy.

on what tracks? alot of people find them to be bass heavy because i mixed these on shitty speakers. in my studio headphones the bass is overpowering.
if you mean that it isnt clearly defined enough, thats because we had a problem with the bass amp head and we are using a poweramp and no eq.
if you are using earbuds or laptop speakers that is your issue.
thank you for the input though, if you could be more specific i'd appreciate it.

I think it was my macbook speakers..... they're shit on bass. The tracks are good though, the only advice I would give is beef up the guitar tone and saturate the bass...... maybe get a keyboard player. keep working hard and you're in there.
