Shorted out my light

Plugged my t5 into a 240v outlet by accident, pretty sure I shorted a circuit. Is there anything I can do to fix it? It's still under warranty but the place I'd have to take it to is really far away and I don't they'd cover that anyway.

I guess the guy who lived here before was some kind of electrician and he wired the whole place himself. The outlet I plugged into has a regular 3 prong outlet and one of the funny looking 240v ones but I didn't realize it until it was too late, I just thought they were both regular 120v 3-prongers.
I'm so frustrated about this situation. I've got everything set up to start growing again except a light to start and maintain a mother with.

Aww that sucks, is there any sort of warranty on it ?
I had two cheap CRT TVs and a $500 DLP Projector blow out when lightning struck the cable lines across the street last week so I feel your pain man
Kinda handy to have a 240v plug though, Just label it well and put the proper plug so you dont fuck anything else up
EDIT: Dude drive it up there and say it blew when you fired it up for the first time, theres no way to tell it wasnt just a faulty bulb

Don't crack it open if you don't know what you are doing. If the circuit has capacitors there is a chance they are still charged. Lets just say that would suck balls.

Thanks guys
I called the store I got it from and acted innocent about why it wouldn't work. So they said to bring it in and then if they couldn't fix it they'd get Hydrofarm to send me a new one. You guys think they'll figure out I fried the ballast or something and ditch me on the warranty (it's 5 years)?
I'll have to ship it to them to, I bought it in another state.
If they fuck me with the warranty my next door neighbor is a real handyman and I bet he could fix it for me if I got the missing parts. He's also almost as chill as I am he definitely wouldn't care what I use it for, they're total potheads.

OK So in the mean time I've got these 5 floros (including the one I'm holding). The long ones are 17w and the short ones are 15w. Will I be able to grow out a mother with that or should I use my 150w HPS and forget about perpetual harvest until I get the t5 thing sorted?
Also here's my power situation. This outlet is 120v and wired up for to a 15 amp breaker. Only problem is it's 2 prongs and not 3 so I've been using this 2-3 converter. There's also a extension chord here that's got a male 2 prong end and a female 3 prong end that seems safer than the 2-3 converter right at the outlet.

Put some tape over the 240, or get a plastic infant protector for it, don't wanna go shorting out your big electric sex toys

That is a work in progress.
If y'all didn't know I'm working with a 120v outlet that's only a 2 prong and I've been using a 2 to 3 prong converter to fix the situation.
At worst I'll ground the 2-3 converter, at best I'll rewire it to a 3 prong outlet. Honestly I'm pretty worried that I'll have to continue working with it, does anyone know if this causes some concern for fire risks or anything? If so I'd happily buy a 30' extension chord from the only outlet in the house that's three prong.
As for that 240v outlet.. It is heavily lined with tape so it'll never be used again.
