Kinda strange, I haven't visited this site in years, and when I finally come back I see that one of my 2 year old threads got bumped just 4 days ago.
And guess why I came back to this site after not visiting for 2 years... I'm going to be growing weed in a rented apartment.

My friend grows in a rented house and keeps the grow room locked, on house inspections they say their partners a photographer and converted the room into their studio/dark room for developing shots. 
i wouldnt think They would demand a look unless an obvious smell is permeating from the room or something. .
just try to keep the place clean and in good condition, you shouldnt have any problems.
p.s just read magash's post on last thread and i agree, tents are a great idea for this situation especially if your unsure about just locking the room. (i dont think the landlord will bust into a 'dark room' though, if 'your partner' has the only key, and if it risks ruining your 'partners' work)

What a bunch of uneducated stoners. California Law allows landlords to inspect with a 24-hour written notice. Go buy a house or do an outdoor grow. Not cool to destroy other people's property.
