Any of you ever try this as an experiential, research, or just from taking too many drugs?
It is very interesting... when I did it I just went insane... well more insane then usual.  Also some hallucinations and delusions. Man that was a shit day.
How long have you gone without sleep, how was it? I am constantly on amps so that puts me in a sort of different situation.

Back in my coke days it was nothing to go 4 to 5 days without sleep.
The shadow people are a pain in the ass after day 3.
I'm also one them people who only sleep 4 to 6 hrs a day these days, and I feel great most days.

I take amps and benzos. I hear benzos mess up the sleep cycle when you actually do sleep? is that true?

I have a friend on such a mix, honestly for him it's the only way he's sane.
And yes from what I see him do it fucks sleeping habits. I've seen him go 2 to 3 days normal then hot sleep for a day or so, then sleep for 2 to 3 days.
If you're anything like him, I feel for your friends and family. He's a true nut, nice happy go lucky one minute, trying to rip someone's head off the next.

ive been up 5 days on tweek back when i was a teenager. i ended up going to tijuana rolling phat tweek bowls in the trunk of a car with my first boy hook up. we ended up throwing chairs through a bar window, going back to long beach, and driving a u haul all the way back to the bay.... fuckin tweek man....

About 5 days without any kind of drugs, was years ago. I was about 13. I have a long history of insomnia since I was a little kid. Now being much older and having my fair share of trips since then. The best way to describe it, is like a bad and a good trip. Mostly bad though, it just all depends how you spend your time but you do reach that point of losing you're mind.
When you reach past 72hrs at least for me, that's when everything starts to become strange. Right now though, the insomnia isn't as bad thanks to the   .

guy i work with said that he was up almost a month on tweak. telling his friends that thats how he was going to live the rest of his life, just awake on junk. he said by the end of the month him and his friends were at a park and he turned to his buddy and asked "do you see all of these people walking around naked" "no" .... "Oh shit!"

But the longest Ive stayed awake for was about 3 days, slight visual hallucinations and some audio ones too. I took amps the first night and that was all the drugs I did except for weed...
But in highschool It wasn't abnormal for me to get 8 hours of sleep during some school weeks, I had insomnia pretty bad. Most of my sleep would actually be in school during class hahaha I would tell my parents but they just keep telling me too go to bed earlier and wouldnt do anything about it. And yet they kept bitching at me for sleeping in class 
But then I started smoking weed and that helped a LOT,

Longest for me was only like 2days but I was studying this recently and I know what after more than 10 or so days and your body begins to start the sleep cycle despite the fact that you are awake, meaning you can dream and even enter REM sleep all while awake.
This can make you have severe hallucinations and just fuck you up basically.
I saw a video on a NYC radio announcer who stayed awake for 201 hours and by the end of it he was seeing spiders in his shoes and he thought his best friend was an undertaker there to bury him. He ended up running out into the street and almost got hit by a taxi.
You can also die if you go long enough without it, but that's an extremely rare disease called something like fatal insonmiatic disorder or somthing like that :S

I used to see how long I could go without sleeping as a child, I liked the trippy feeling after 2-3 days 
Though in my adult life, 4 days is the most I've gone, and that was only months ago.

I'm pretty sure I was up for a week once, but that was from various amphetamines.
The past few days I only got like 20 minutes of sleep each night. I started to go pretty insane from it. I was somewhere between sleep and being awake, and I heard every single person I knows voice, really, really loud all around my and my head felt like it was getting crushed. 
I kept getting really weird hallucinations. Nothing too disturbing, but certainly threw me off. For example, I kept seeing crazy birds flying by outside yesterday that weren't there. I'd look real quick and there wouldn't be any birds. Then, later that day...I swear to god I went to sit down and saw a brown M&M in my chair. I thought it was so strange because I don't like chocolate or M&Ms so it shouldn't have been there. I looked back and it was gone.
Past few days was just insomnia, not drugs. And yeah, during my week long no-sleep I got the shadow people real bad too. I guess its pretty common for people staying up.

When I used to be on seroquel, it sucks ass, and I would stay up all night and skip my dose I'd feel very funny and make jokes and laugh, then I'd feel sick, then all fucked up, then I'd take a seroquel.
I take xanax now but I am not sure how much real sleep I am getting when I get sleep because it messes up your cycles.
If I doze off on xanax I get these trippy 2 minute lucid dream/hypangoia experiences and then need feel the need to open my eyes because i am scared and coming back to real life a bit and when I open my eyes I am really scared like after sleep paralysis. if i doze off for a good nap (20minutes-a couple hours) i feel like shit afterwards.
