Last I heard they only ended up making the spill larger. But at least they can suck it up and start making some cash on it.

Well, basically, in a nutshell...They've tried to "fix" the problem and keep fucking it up worse and worse and then lying to the public and scientists and everyone else about it. There's a new HD video out now that they've only released because of pressure from Congress n whatnot. They've basically fucked up VERY bad and are scared to admit how much oil is really coming out of the pipe because they have to pay for each barrel. Basically no fix in site. And it absolutely kills me to see the animals on television in the condition that they are. Birds covered in oil n shit. Makes me sad  , like seriously

Well they said they were getting 6,000 gallons a day from the new dome, just going on what I know. If there is a conspiracy theory about this I'd love to hear it.

I would hope they sell the oil they are siphoning off... They are gonna have a big bill when this is done. Plus, what else would they do with it? Store it somewhere?

I've been staying very updated on this. Up to the minute actually.
FarBeyond, Dungness is actually right, although they made the spill larger, some how the oil they are siphoning off is actually being sold. I'm not particularly psyched that their making money off it, but the spills clean up could take years, and that's gonna be a lot of bank. I'm really upset about all of this. Being someone like myself who is so ocean minded, lives at the beach, looks at the water every day, and surfs... I'm really upset that bigger measures aren't being taken, but I am happy that Obama is "looking for whose ass to kick".
This oil could actually reach where I live by NOVEMBER. Right in the prime of hurricane season. No one should be turning their head at this, this is a serious manner. This is what could start a decay of a planet.

They've been siphoning off oil for about a week now. They've collected some 10 thousand barrels or something like that. This is the current image of the oil as of June 8th. This is just the approximate mass of oil, be minded that there are barrels more that are flowing under the sea level and just floating around.

Oh, just for a week. I didn't know that. Sorry DD  The whole thing just pisses me the fuck off. It's like they had no safety on the gun, know what I mean. Like if something went wrong, it's kinda like they would just handle it when it happened. I heard a quote earlier tonight from one of the higher ups at BP and he said "I wish I had my life back." They had one of the dead workers brothers in Congress talkin about that shit. That fucker should've chosen his words a little better. I swear I would beat the shit out of one of those BP fuckers if I saw them in person. I don't like how the fuckin wildlife is paying the price for this.

It looks alot worse but thats only because the containment cap on top of the well is blowing the well to the sides, displacement theory. Either way its still pumping out barrels upon barrels each and every day.
I'd also like to add a quick theory. There maybe a reason (insert higher power here) didnt want us to dig into the Earth in search of oil, maybe thats why its so deep and maybe this should show how humans are really, really fucking this planet to bits.
