I would hope they sell the oil they are siphoning off... They are gonna have a big bill when this is done. Plus, what else would they do with it? Store it somewhere?

Worst possible case has always been August, when the relief wells are completed. That is still on schedule and there is really no way they can fuck it up.
But yeah, fuck them. If its not cleaned up before hurricanes touch down whole cities are going to be painted black.
Actually hurricanes would likley be good for the spill. It would aerate the water, which aids in the natural break down of the oil. The idea that the oil will cover the city inland isnt really substantiated by anything.

100 billion dollars? All the estimates I have read put it at much less than that, at around 20-30 billion dollars. BP can likley afford to clean this up, pay off the fishermen and continue to make a profit.
Im sure not everybody will be happy with the fines and litigation results. But they will certainly be held financially responsible for the clean up and restitution.
