When you are really high, like in a spiritual heroic dose of shrooms or dmt sort of way, do you think you are experiencing the true nature of god or just phosphenes?

I believe in God so I've had a couple trips where it was like I felt close to nature and in turn God in a way. One of those things you can't really explain. Ya'll know what I'm talkin about. That's just me though.

I guess I sometimes entertain the notion of God but I just find it more of a challenge to explain the world around me empirically. One thing I do know is we'll never know the true origins of universe, at least I don't think we will. Not before we kill ourselves off.
