Do you feel any substantial high difference between different strains?

I've grown and tried Blueberry(DP), Masterkush(DP), Skywalker(DP). Blueberry was finished while Masterkush and Walker were picked early, but all had trichome covered buds. I know they all indica doms and Walker is BB hybrid but still wherever I smoke one of these I never feel any difference. Maybe it's an individual thing?

I have a hard time telling between strains too. Some stuff like Lemon Haze, you can actually taste a little bit of lemon, but only on the first puff of the first smoke of the day.
Otherwise, yeah I can't tell the difference too much either. Though, I can tell if the weed is indica dom or sativa.

I've most definitely noticed many differences of highs between strains. Even highs between mids. I find when you smoke too much everything gives you the same bland barely there high. Smoke less maybe?

I can def tell the difference between indica and sativa highs but my mood and how much sleep i got the night before is really what matters.

I guess im the odd man out. I don't really notice too much of a difference in the highs from different plants. I remember reading something in DJ Shorts book about this subject. He suggested taking a mild psychedelic trip and using your heightened senses to taste the bud. I think that makes a lot of sense. He was doing the taste testing and looking for very specific attributes as I recall. Anyway, that's a good idea. The high is usually the same for me. I don't really tend to notice a difference between indica and sativa strains though. I guess im not sophisticated enough in my pot experiences. I will attribute this to never having proper knowledge about cannabis strains and their effects. Been smoking pot daily for 12 years or so and for almost the entire time I have only had what was available. Bud was bud. It will be SOOOOOO nice to be in a medical state where i can pick and choose. I think once that time comes I will focus more energy on this.

Interesting. I bet if you smoked pure haze one day and GDP the next day you would def be able to tell me a difference in highs. I dont want to bother typing this all up but according to Jorge Cervantes:
THC- gets you high CBD- sedative high. When combined with THC makes the high take longer to kick in but last longer. CBN- produced as THC oxidizes (degrades), so old shit has this. Makes stoner confused, stupefied, sleepy or groggy. THCV (Tetrahydrocannabivarin) Has high fragrance. Cervantes says "THCV is found in very potent marijuana that originates in Southeast and Central Asia as well as regions of Africa". This make for a fast onset and short duration high. CBC- little research has been done, but it is believed to intensify high in combination with THC.

I've never gotten paranoid from weed, but then again I've also never had weed with a very high THC %

I keep three strains in my house at all times so that I have choices of highs...I definitely can tell differences in each bag I get, named or not.

Long time between you reg date and first post. Welcome to teh Growery.
I can tell a difference in between different strains of weed. I can also tell a big difference between the buzzes/drunks from different liquors, beers and wines. Wines being the most noticeable of em all for me.

Most definitely. Wine does have a very distinct "drunk" that comes with it.

That it does.
I meant among individual wines though.
$20.00 or more in bottle price can make a HUGE difference in the drunk you get.
Get drunk off of cisco and you might get raped in jail.
Get drunk off of a really good Chateau De Pape and you might rape two milfs to the pleasure of a voyeuristic JB.
YMMV.
