I swear some of the people on this forum wouldn't know good music if it ran them over driving a drum set with wheels

Just because you like it its good?
People don't all have the same music tastes as you, I think music appreciation comes from life experiences and being able to relate.. Why do you think ghetto kids like rap..
You gotta learn to open your own mind and find beauty in all music before you judge others music tastes

I'm talking about the musicianship of the people in this band
They play their instruments very well, which makes them good musicians, which USUALLY makes the band good.

i am kinda with you on this. Mad Season is fucking great. You ever watch those old mtv unplugged recordings? i dont think that group did one, but i know a&c and nirvana did. both of those performances are on my top 100 albums to take to the desert island.

Yeah, I've seen the unplugged of both of them actually. AIC doing nutshell unplugged was insane. And pretty much all of the Nirvana was good. Layne Staley was one of the best lyricist and singers I've ever heard in my life, probably the best actually. I can't believe the passion he put into that shit.
