not to my knowledge, could be wrong about that though. Interesting question. You don't want the pistils. You want more calyx's. more light = bigger and denser buds, which is nothing but a bunch of calyx all stuck together. light will help you in that regard.

More light can always help, I figured pistil formation was due to genetics but im no ballsach

nope, I mean pistils, Like some strains of bud wil ljust naturally have a lot of red hairs Like an AK 47 strain as opposed to a kush strain which has only a few

to me it seems like the hairier bud has many more smaller calyxes while other bud with less hairs has less, but bigger swollen calyxes.

i still think you mean calyx. each normal calyx has two pistils. So it's calyx formation that you're talking about.

dude, I know what a calyx and a pistil are jesus.. I clarified this
Look at all the pistils on the first plant, and then all the pistils on the second plant... same lights, same nutrients, different amount of pistils, different strain
The amount of pistils are influenced by genetics which are unique to strains...
