To me, the thing about metal is that it all sounds the same. Not many bands really have anything original to offer. I grew up on metal and I really love it but I just can't stand the majority of shit coming out these days. That song was better but it still doesn't really tickle me fancy.

Alex Laiho is good. He's pure shred, but he does that very well. I saw Children of Bodom with this band and broke my wrist and stayed another couple hours just to see BTBAM. You have not experienced life if you aren't trippin balls and just put in the cd Colors. You can't really experience them unless you just press play, not song 2 or song 7 or whatever. One of those bands where it just goes. Here's the first 10 minutes of Colors. Everyone in this band is amazing at their instrument. They aren't pure metal, but are brutal as fuck at some points. Cool dudes too when I met them. PLEASE listen to just this 10 minutes and tell me what you think.
