The Polk County Medical Examiner says Slipknot bassist Paul Gray died from an accidental overdose of morphine and fentanyl, a synthetic morphine substitute.

Gray's body was found in a hotel room in Urbandale on May 24th. A maintenance worker at the hotel discovered Gray when he entered the room at the request of Gray's family who had been unable to reach him.
