First time using decent fertz on my garden...I can't wait to see the results. Not planting until June 1'st. Though a the potatoes and other ground crops may go in after I till the garden a few more times.
Edit: Quick shot of the goods

boring. Too much greenery. broccoli = green -cauliflower = white -cabbage = green -green peppers = green -cantaloupe = orange -celery = green -romaine lettuce =green -iceburg lettuce = green -red leafed lettuce = red but tastes green
Where the tomatoes at? That looks good though i need to plant lettuce.

Lol....it is a vegetable garden. Aside from the varieties of lettuce...the other items planted will produce a multitude of colors (just under ground). I do plan on throwing in some beefsteak tomatoes (the nursery had a poor selection when I was there). I personally don't eat them, but I enjoy giving away the fruits of my labor to friends and family members.

You know I was just thinking that the other day. When I go back to the nursery for tomatoes I'll have a look at what they got. Thanks for the reminder!
I'll be tossin up photos in week and a half. Full moon/last frost this weekend!! The "other" garden goes out as well and I can't wait!!

Came back from vacation to see all my lettuce and cantaloupe dead. Everthing else is doing well though. Just gave the garden it's first feed of superthrive along with a seabird quano and molasses tea. Things should perk up shortly. I'll toss up some pics in a week or two when things really start filling out.

The nursery was out everything but green pepper plants
Just going with green peppers....which aren't doing very well at the moment. Dunno why those fuckers won't grow...they didn't last yr either.

Yeah man right now the tomatoes are healthy as any could be. About 150 seedlings as well that are doing great, when I take all my flats out into the sun tomorrow I will take some pics and post them up. I can't wait to try my hand at canning a bunch of salsa and tomato sauce as well as pesto. I'm trying to learn how to grow food for survival, and its tough cause where I live in New Mexico is very dry! But I know this will be a vital skill in the near future. This is gonna be my biggest garden ever and I'm kind of slacking on the planning department this spring but I'm already planning ahead for the fall crops like lettuce spinach chard radishes etc.

Nice gardens fella's!
I wish I had a bigger garden space for more veggies! But am able to grow a row of bush beef steak tomatoes. Herbs like, cilantro/corriander, rosemary, oregano( 2 types), chinese celery, and thyme. A row of straight eight cukes. 2 rows of green bean(blue lake variety). Couple rows of onion grown from seed. Some small bunching onions. And a few variety of peppers like green and mixed color bell pepper, anahiem, hawaiian chili, and habenaro.
Also starting a small flower garden for my wife between two gardenia shrubs consisting of 2 types of roses, poppy of different varieties, delphinium, foxglove, and carnations. I also have a thread in this forum called my hawaii backyard with some pics of gardens and wild plants.
