150 watt hps - autoflower strains only.

Alright, I've been lurking forums since the days long before OG got shut down, and I have never had a decent place to grow. Now I have a certain amount of privacy, but I have decided after literally years of research, that growing pot by most methods is a huge pain in the ass. Here are my options;
Plan 1: 2 autoflowers, in 2 gallon pots, filled with FFOF, under a 150 watt hps on 18/6, with a couple clip on fans. It will be sitting on my dresser with a lock on my door. At the absolute most I might try Hempys. I only need about an ounce or 2 to get me through 2 to 2 1/2 months till the next cycle.
Plan 2: same setup but with 4 plants and a 250 watt hps. If I use the soil, I don't plan on using nutes. As I understand it, SOME autoflowers (Lowryders and LR hybrids mostly.) will do fine without nutes in a 2 gallon pot of FFOF.
My Questions:
1: What's your favorite autoflower strain and why? There are several out now, and I'd like to try a few of them. I know some suck, but I also know some are quite potent. (Tried auto-AK and it fucked me up proper. Not like some of the BC stuff we used to get, but very fine indeed.)
2: How much smoke you think I'll get assuming an "Average yield". If there is such a thing. I'd rather stay away from the 250 if it can be helped just because smaller is better for heat and too much light in my face all day if it's sitting on my dresser. But if I'm gonna need it, I'll use it.
3: Should I add more plants per light? With autos I would assume plant size comparable to light size would be the main factor to consider. How many per light would you use and why? (For both the 150 and 250)
~The idea behind this is to have an incredibly cheap setup, easy to run, that will provide me with enough smoke to last till next cycle with a small surplus.~
Thanks in advance for all your help over the years, even if you don't know it, I was paying attention.
