Quote: Even Magasg is saying the same thing. In general, commercial feminized seeds aren't great quality. However, even companies that do the work to get the numbers down, cannot guarantee you all females and no chance of hermies.
Ok, this is true but it is true of any seed. Like I said if the work has been done the percentage of hermies will be withing a half a percentage point of regular seeds that a hermie will occur. You just have to get them from the right place or be willing to do the work yourself. Just look up the complaints and who they got the seeds from and I'll bet it's either Soma or Dutch Passion in at least 80% of them. (esp Dutch Passion which are pretty much hermies in a bag)
Now as far as the price difference I don't think there should be one at all and myself won't charge different prices. (If your looking to start new parent plants to work with get regular seeds for the different phenos to pick from. Looking for all females right away and something that grows more uniform to one another then go feminized.) Once the parent plants are picked it's not a whole lot more work to make fem-ed seeds. Yes you have a lot less pollen to work with but that is still a million times more then you need considering a thimble of pollen can pollinate half a acre of plants.
(by the way who is Magasg sounds Japanese)
