Time to search for a tank in my area!
EDIT: Found a spa that has an isolation tank! It's only $40 for an hour. Just a 30 min drive too..can't wait to try this!

I really want to try there's only like one place that does it in my city though and they charge like 90$ for a 2 hour sesh not the kind of money I got to spend on this

yeah it was based on John Lily's experiment... look it up... good read. 
I had a DIY, messed up, splotchy version of sensory deprivation in my bathtub.
I also tried ganzfeld effect but had trouble with that.
The bathtub experience was crazy, it was really hot too which played a part in it.
It was sort a kundalini awakening... but it focused mostly on my throat chakra.

I had booked a second tank session a few weeks ago but their tank was fucked up or something so I had to reschedule it for today. I'm not going to be as stoned as i was last time. plus this time im in it for 2 hours. i hope they still honor the rate they initially told me. i'm feeling pretty good atm so I'll see how it goes in a bit.

Those will be for next time. She let me stay in there an extra half hour. I had no idea until i got out. hair was almost a solid block of salt. I think i feel asleep in there a couple of times. It was like i had just found myself in a weird in between state of consciousness. I would say it's just the state that people enter into just before they drift off to sleep. I felt that way 3 or 4 times and the time went by much quicker than i thought it would. Some people say they get intense psychedelic like trips while they are in there. That seems to be out of my reach atm. I've never meditated or trained my mind in any other formalized discipline like that. I haven't expected to have a natural psychedelic trip in there or anything though, so nothing's been lost. Next time I will dose with a gram or two of cubes about an hour before hand. That wont be for a while though, until i save up the $$$ to do it again. I will post that experience here and probably the PE forum at shroomery too. I am really looking forward to that. If you ever go in make sure you don't shave just before getting in. That was fucking dumb.

I want to do this. I have wanted to ever sense I heard the original Joe Rogan DMT talk and he tells the dude how he has his own isolation tank at his house and what it was like taking mushrooms in there.
