i cant find powder nutrients specifically designed for growing in soil. does anybody know of any? and if not can i just use compost tea for my soil grown plants for there whole lives? and with compost tea how do you know when you have too little or to much nutrients?. from hat i have read you can add just about anything to compost tea. all i have is worm compost, agave nectar, honey, agar super thrive, spent coffee and i can get blood meal what do i NEED o add to this?
fish oil?,kelp? most recipes i saw called for chemical nutes, dosnt that defeat the purpose?

Some people do use "tea's" for their whole grow, not sure how great it works.
Why does it have to be powder?

Order some bat or seabird guano. You can get bags higher in nitrogen and also phosphorus. At my dro store you can get a bag of guano for like 15 bucks. I'm sure you can find something cheaper online.
Keep it simple man. Don't stress over the details. Almost anything/everthing is here for you to learn...just use the search engine.

Wow, look at the picture above. It is designed for both soil and hydroponic. FoxFarm can be used for both soil and hydroponics. Almost all ferts are designed for use in soil, and then you have some nutrients that are intended for hydro only and are usually labeled as such.
As far as dry nutes, haven't seen too much in the way of em or used any. Why do you have to order the nutes? Why don't you just go down to you local grow store?

And are you wanting water soluble nutes then? Because if you did a little bit of research on soil amendments you'd learn that you add things prior to the grow like bone meal, bat guano, blood meal etc. to provide nutrients. If your wanting to go with the dry nutrient route like your talking about.

wow i did look at the picture! i know now it is b when i was reading i couldn't find a single ting that said that... and i have read on dozens of sites they say not to use hydroponic chemicals in soil... m local grow shop is owned y narcs ( or at least extremely sketchy people that talk about rowing weed as soon as you walk in, so i dont like going there. also i would still like a good reason why hydroponic chemicals cant be used for soil?

Dude, listen to what I'm telling you. The majority of fertilizers out there are designed for both. Floranova can be used in both. I'm telling you that you can use them in either application.
Now some lines of nutrient solutions do design separate lines for hydro and soil. What the difference between those ones are I have no clue. Maybe something to do with the availability of nutrients since your running a different pH??
So you only have one grow store in your town? You can also try nurseries. They'll have different plant foods that are in solid form.

Well that's a nutrient. Your wanting a dry nutrient, and there are multiple options on that page that are water soluble. What more do you want?

I was being an ass because you wouldn't listen. But okay, teas work okay to an extent. Also Kool Bloom comes in a powder form for your later stages of flowering.
