To recover the goodies as a smoke-able oil... I was thinkin like soaking/ washing it in 90% iso then evap, but if theres an easier/better way then splurge your input here!!

alcohol would probably work, ive done it before but my vape wasnt that dirty so I didnt get much and it was barely enough to get high

Yeah I can't imagine anything else being much more effective than just using iso.

Hexane would be the best.
That's what pretty much most large companies use.

Definitely do not use xylene.
Stuff is nasty and dangerous if used with food/ingestables.

it's pretty much on par with iso and much more expensive soooo i'd go with 91% iso

I tried it with 90% Iso. I have Da Buddha. I didn't think it was worth smoking after the iso evap. It tasted so rank and it was really hard to apply to the bowl. Maybe I didn't evap all of it off.
However my wand was super clean. I don't even change the screen anymore just soak it in alcohol for a few days.

I soak my pieces in purple power for a day and rinse, and it comes out clean as a whistle.
