Harvest time?

Hey guys,
I grow 3 power kush plants in soil ( 600 HPS )
Today is the 48th day of flowering and according to the seeds catalog( DINAFEMSEEDS) the flowering period for this strain is 45-55 days.
My question is based on your past experience should i follow this guideline ? I am thinking of harvest them tomorrow?
I looked at the trichomes with a lens ( a very week one) and the top buds are definitely switching their colors from transparent to cloudy/darky. Moreover im not a huge CBD fan ( its seems like i am more a high effect fan instead of the "stoned" one .. so i considered harvest them earlier.
How can i identify the time which maximizes THC ?
Thanks a lot in advance

Hi Deos,
I'm still a very amateur grower myself so I don't want to offer you any bad advice so I'll say that they look SWEET and that's a nice looking bud. Though if you're looking for any feedback then I do presume that you tried that bud you harvested and if it was what you were wanting you could harvest the rest, though from the top down, and leave the lower ones for a couple extra days if you feel that the trichs haven't changed enough yet. Anyways, keep up the the good work!

I'd say a week and they'd be fully finished. If you don't want any amber trichomes then chop at your discretion.

Really hard to see from that first picture tbh The second pic looks great to me but I can't really tell if the rest of the plants look that ripe or not.

Thanks a lot for the quick responses guys,
i tried the bud and its nice but the effect is still quite light and moreover the smell/taste is still a fresh one (cucumber style)do u think that this means that its too early ?
Harry, i am really sorry bout my photo skills ( epic fail ) but my camera is crappy my hands are shaking and i just dont get the light properly.. The second picture is from a middle bud , and according to my knowledge they must be ready first ( "the sunlight" is decomposing thc and the tops are closest to the "sun" ) or im getting this wrong? Do you think that 50 days are enough ? The strain is a indica one (50%) and they need shorter flowering period right? I read somewhere in growery that 56 is the average period (coda i think said that).
one more question, i should harvest them in the "morning" meaning right before the lamp starts, right ? not after the 12 hours of sun ?
Sorry for all the questions, really thanks for all ur help and i will completely understand if you dont bother answering them.
p.s. one more try ( top bud) :

yeah nitrogen, but thats normal, in these late stages, you'll notice more yellow leafs but keep it that way, give them straight water untill harvest!

Deficiencies are good at this point. You're flushing so deficiencies indicate that the plant is metabolizing nutrients stored in the plant tissues.
There's nothing like the beautiful colors achieved with a good flush.
