OK Growery, Wish we didn't have too meet this way. So these were started March 20th. Seeds were started in this potting soil , inside a little terra cotta seed starter. they are on 24 hours light and the fan is always on They are watered property. They havent been given any food other than whats in the soil. there are some yellowing and crumbling leaves as well as curling burning leaves is the soil the cause of the problems ? Thanx growery
ok So i have no idea on the pH and yes im watering with tap water i leave it open tho.this is the food i have how should i use it the numbers are 2%nitrogen 3%phosphate (p2o5) 3% 1%(k2o)potash i Water when the pots are lite and the soil on top is dry
OK ,so as far as the ferts go im not adding anything to it. the soil says right on the bag "feeds for three months naturally" Sux! i wouldn't have bought it if i was paying attention. i hate wal mart. I transplanted half of them yesterday after i made a new soil mix. 2 1/2year old horse poo "compost", organic Peat moss and the rest of the bagged soil i have.I flushed the soil till it was clear when i transplanted. the plants that have been re-potted don't seem to be any worse.
so now im thinking there maybe over fed and of coarse until i find out the pH ill have to assume that's also a problem. Is there any way to check pH with just litmus paper?
