I'm using a soilless mixture, plants are on their 4th and 5th nodes. The bottom set which is the first real looking leaves, have started to yellow, is this a nitrogen deficiency?
it's possible, but, yellowing is a sign of a lot of things. Pics would be best along with you filling out the questionnaire found at the top of the forum.

i would vote for probably try watering with a diluted manure "tea"
if you havent started feeding them, now is the time. if you have been fertilizing them well, it could be a sign of incorrect ph level. You can get an affordable ph test kit at the pet store. A ph around 6.5 is good, slighty acidic.
