Where can I find some good antivirus software to put on my comp. I had a copy of AVG but I had to reformat and reinstall again and the CD key for it wouldn't work anymore. Can anyone direct me to a torrent of a good program or even the link to a free one that actually works well? Thanks...

Download Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition from TPB.
No serial, no bullshit. Quick install, haven't had a problem in over 4 years on all my windows computers.

AVG free version expires after 30 days. I had a CD key for it that had me good til 2018 but I lost it when I had to format. I guess I could just reinstall it every 29 days...

Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition is good but only issue with this is that is a very big application and take crazy CPU juice if you are not running anything over a dual core during the scan prosses. I would suggest to have it run at night if you do install it. Also Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition does not provide real time scanning. So you may get infected and you will only find out after you have been infected.
If you have no idea how anti virus work i would suggest you to stick with AVG since its a user friendly client and interface. Probably much easier for you to get around than Symantec.

You are doing it wrong sir. Download the one link i gave you. You dont have to re-install anything. I have the same AVG running at home for over 14 month now.

When you go to install it asks you if you want to free version of the "comprehensive protection version" that expires in 30 days. I had the good version but I don't have a working key for it anymore. Somehow I feel like if they give you that option and you take the free one it's still gonna be easy to get fucked for the more advanced viruses.

You don't have to trust the two of us that say that the free version works just fine.
But I'm pretty sure Hydro is computer literate (I think I remember his job involving computers just can't remember because I don't memorize everyone's job).
And I'm pretty computer literate, enough where I've never had a computer become fucked by viruses or spyware.

Absolutely 100% wrong.
In fact flat out lie. Are you sure you're talking about this particular program:
Take note, this is the anti virus the U.S. Government uses to protect all it's computers, at least inside diplomatic consulates. There must be some value to it no?
It is not a large file, it DOES have real time scanning, it does not take up a lot of juice (you should have at least 512 if your doing multi tasking of any kind,) no serial, no bullshit additional software and it's simple looking.
Just click, install -> boom. No problems ever. Guarenteed.
DO NOT LET HYDRO REMOTELY CONNECT TO YOUR COMPUTER. HE HAS NO IDEA WHAT HE'S TALKING ABOUT.

If your comprhension of a good anti virus system is because it as no serial key required and a quick install. you might wanna go back and learn a bit more on how it work .. I have been working in the computer engineering for over 4 year so i have a rough idea of what i am talking about.
and i am talking about dual ciore. you are bringing 512 mb. what the fuck does it have to do with anything im asking..........
your processor and your inboard memory are 2 different thing. read a bit more about computer before trying to make your self look O almighty .
once again you sir are a fail
and saying to people dont let me remote. make you look liek a joke because i fixed many computer on this board and no one ever complainned.

Uhh why are people assuming I'm completely computer illiterate lol. I was just trying to see if there was a better product than AVG that didn't require a key or with a torrent link that had a key. I installed AVG again and it works fine.

You said the program does not have real time scanning capability, is a very large program and is enormously straining on the CPU. This is all false.
You have no clue what your talking about. Please stop lying to other members.
