I've never really heard that much techno/electronic music that I could fly to but I'm not closed to the idea. I know a lot of people love it and I could see how it could be fitting for a trip so post some shit that you honestly feel should blow anyone away cause its so good.

I'm glad you like Techno man....
I actually made a thread on my favorite type of Techno, Poly-Rhymthic, complex Techno and Tech-House.
The thread I made is called For the Love of Poly-Rhythmic, Multi-Layered Tech-House and Techno.
The very first track I uploaded is this song from an artist I found on MySpace. They are from South Africa, I think, called "Reatik Sounds". NobodyImportant called it "Acid Sex music", I can't think of a better name for it...
Here's some intricate Techno/Tech-House from my favorite techno artist right now Dave Robertson....
Anil Chawla - Purple Fruit (Dave Robertson Remix)
And there's this really chill, ambient-like Tech-House track from this artist from Israel (that's right DoItAgain, Israel) I just found with a totally awesome name....
Yariv Etzion - Whisky Sour (original mix)
And my favorite dempo-tempo exotic Techno/Electronica artist Bluetech makes some amazing music called Psy-Bient (psychedelic ambient)...my favorite album is "Prima Materia", and here's one of the best tracks from that album....
Bluetech - Prayers for Rain (Dub Mix)
....but Bluetech has being doing some interesting new stuff just recently as well, like this natural instrument/digital hybrid IDM track....
Bluetech - Mysteriosa Flambeau
^He's changed his music style so much over time, like most artists.....but its part of being experimental.
Most of the Techno I've heard (other than these) always seems so mechanical and life-less to me (i.e. Acid Techno). These are by far the best kind, in my opinion, its more organic and "natural" if you will...
I hope you Enjoy.

Lol, actually the genre you are referring to is called progressive trance/house, i know i've told you this before.
You can call it poly-rhythmic complex techno but people in the EDM world will think you don't know what you're talking about. Not telling you this to be a dick but to inform you.
here's a good progressive psychedelic track Sensient- Doof bitch

Is that so?
What about the bassline on the track in the OP, the "Realtik Sounds" track? its not a 4-4 on-the-beat like every Trance/House track ever. Its more like a Techno bassline, or hip-hop....long, complex, and varied....
And I called it Tech-House because that's what the genre title was on their webpage at Myspace (its gone now)...It was something like "Techno / House / Electronica" if I recall. No progressive trance or whatever.
I think you don't know what you are talking about.....
Here's some Techno Dance , if you wanna know what Techno is usually considered (wrongly). I enjoy some of it, like this track....remember this one?

First off there's no such thing as a 4/4 bassline, theres a 4/4 kick drum.
Basically in the EDM world the poly-rhythmic multi layered description you used is called Progressive.
The reaktik sounds was progressive house, some of the tracks i posted were progressive-psy. But lately the trend has been styles merging together, and not being so distinct from one another so most people are referring to all these styles of music as just Progressive.

OK, fair enough....
But doesn't progressive always have a trancey/emotional side? I always thought Progressive sounded more like a blend of German Trance and House, not Techno and House (Tech-House)
That Reatik Sounds track sounds all Techno, with the strange twerps and synth-acid-sounds, I'm I right? But it does have House in it, with the 4-4 kick, so its Tech-House....
I guess its Progressive Tech-House? But Techno can "progress" thru a track...
I guess its all spliting hairs anyway....
But what you're posting is more Psytrance/Trance, not Techno. Maybe I should post some classic Techno to end the confusion...

hes not asking for just techno though really, hes a noob and is using it as a catchall for electronic music.
Honestly with reaktik and others its all part of the progressive movement, whatever you wanna call it after that is really subjective.

Oh yeah, I didn't think of that....so really, he means any type of EDM that would be awesome on a psychedelic trip...
In other words, anything like House, Trance, Electro, IDM, Glitch, Bassline, maybe even Ragga and Jungle would count huh?
OK, here's some "Techno" ya might like P.M. Its actually called IDM (stands for Intelligent Dance Music, but I like to think it means Intricate Dance Music) also know as "Glitch"...its one of my favorite types of music because its so crazy...

Wow, that Heyoka Boom Track was sweet Tangerines! The genre kinda sounded like down-tempo Psy-breaks or dubstep, or maybe psy-dub....one of those. Interesting tracl.
I have a slightly similar track. Its like Heyoka Boom (sort of), but a faster tempo, a little trippyer....
Its called "FD PsYbreaks" by Unconscious Mind.
