This was my first season growing, and I had one plant left to harvest. I went outside and saw my plant was ready for harvest so I was going to cut it down, but after having a look I realized I was too baked and had left it too late in the day, so I took a small branch from higher up and walked inside.
The next day I awoke early to harvest, only to find 3inch's of stump poking out of the pot.
Never the less, I trimmed, dried and cured the few buds I got from that plant, and now they are ready to smoke, but before I light them up, i feel that I should immortalize the few buds I did manage to collect.
        
To the theif:
I may never find you, but you must know that this was my first of many harvests, and you have only made my love for homegrown Marijuana stronger. So fuck you, you bastard.

Next year put small traps around it, like nails in the ground and such
then when you hear someone scream go and kill them

I would really put a lot of effort into finding out the perp that did this. That shit is one of the worst offenses to a cannabis cultivator. I personally wouldn't have any tolerance for that kind of a greedy theft. I would put my CSI hat on for sure. Can you see foot prints around? What kind of location was this? Who would have had access to this area? Did anyone or could anyone have seen you going to or coming from your plot? How many friends and others know about the grow? All valid questions I would be asking myself in your situation.

Looks like a back yard with a trampoline next to it or something. Probably a friend or neighbor spotted it. I would definitely try and find out who did it, so you know to keep an eye on them. And keep them close, but not close to your grow.

that's a real bummer!
I would start looking at who i told or showed. Chances are you showed it to someone and they let you do all the dirty work while keepin an eye on it till they thought you were gonna pull it.

Oh believe me, as soon as I saw it was ripped in went into David Caruso mode.
I have a few prime suspects, but the one thats standing out is my neighbor. That prick just sits up in his shed all fucking day and I know that he had seen it once or twice, my assumption is that he got one of his friends to rip it and dry it because everynow and then I think I can smell some buds being chopped or smoked over the fence, not sure if its just me being distraught or not.
I can't prove anything, and its not like I can call the cops on his ass, so I'll just take it as a lesson and make sure I'm much more carefull next time around. And anyway, the fact it was stolen makes me apperciate this bud so much more. I savor every toke, and I have to say, its pretty good smoke even if I do say so my self.

Thats why you gotta adopt a dog like I did mate! I adopted a German Shepard from a Harlem Kill-Em-All Shelter, and shes awesome. Great watch dog, good cuddle bud.

I used to have a pure breed Doberman and a Doberman/Rotwiler cross but then I moved and had to give them away

Neighbor. Has to be. I guarantee he saw you snip that branch and knew you was gunna be chopping VERY soon, so the fuck face waited till your light were out and probably creeped over about an hour later figuring you'd be fast asleep by then and cut the whole plant and ran back to his house like a little weasel. Idk man that really sucks though. Where I'm from everyone is a ripper so you always gotta think one step ahead of them. Hope your next grow has more positive results!

I have a feeling your one of them push overs who has no choice other then to let it go. Other wise your the one getting beat down. It is one e thing to show kindness to your fellow human being. But to let some one take advantage of you or your effort is a no-no!! Whn peopl harm other people in anyway then the kindness don't apply to them. Even if it is only material. Someone put effort into either growing it, or purchasing it.
I know damn well if I were to get ripped off plants, money, or my belongings, someones gonna pay! I worked my ass off to get whatever it was! If I give it to someone that's my choice.
