I miss highschool.
I wish I could just fail my classes, and smoke pot all day.
Biology is way to much straight memorization.

I know, it's absurd how easy high school was compared to college. I don't think I did a single homework assignment in high school and still had like a 3.2 because I could ace the tests. Fucking College man.

College can be pretty easy too as long as you stay on top of shit. But of course that's not my style.

you know what i did in english class? I came to class stoned out of my mind every day, i chugged vodka in the back of class, i put dead fish in the ceiling tiles. i put a gallon of old milk and orange juice in the file cabinet before winter vacation. i brought snakes in a tied up sweater and let them loose during class. i didnt go to school to learn, i went because i had to. i didnt care, and i didn't fucking listen to that stupid bitch. and i still don't fucking care. i tore the pages out of her books and burned them, and threw away all the books in the class, two books per day.

eh, not my degree Some classes are definitely easy, but no matter how on top of your shit you are, a 30 page dissertation on biolistic gene transfer for upregulating CodA Choline Oxidase Synthase will never be easy.

Well that's true. I'm still in the early stages of shit so it's a cake walk atm.

oh yeah, 1000 and 2000 level classes are a cakewalk. I fuckin' loved general biology, scoring consistently 20% above the class average on every test and just laughing at all the sorority girls bitching about how it didn't make sense.
And then offering to "tutor" them

LoL pretty much. In general biology I had to quite a bit at how long it took some people to grasp the concept of the punnet square.

I just hate memorizing slides and models.
Highschool I had a 1.8 GPA, I didn't write a single paper my entire highschool career.
I got my shit together my SR year when I got a job though.

I used to go to school to get up with friends in the morning, then we left to do dr00gz all day. Once I got my license, it was over then. Kinda regret that shit though.

I have the opposite view. I think high school is imperative to getting into a good college. I wish I had done much better in HS so i could have gone to a better school. Then that's where you gain your lifelong connections that will help you get into all sorts of opportunities. Try getting into stanford or Berkeley with a 1.8 HS gpa. even if you go to a CC and get a 4.0. I doubt you'd have a chance just given your obvious lack of effort. I really don't mean any of this to be a personal attack, just stating my opinion.

Why would I want to go to a college that would be more difficult? I enjoy putting out as little effort as necessary.
To me what college I go to really does not matter, all I have to do is get a good GPA.

The sad part is though that what college you go to really does matter in terms of the quality of career you receive in the future.

Well, K-State is good enough for me.
Besides, I don't need to make much money.

Plus its the teachers that you get. A teacher at LCC isn't going to be as good as a professor at ASU and they aren't going to be as good (generally) as a teacher at harvard or Cornell. The teachers you have really has a profound impact on the person you become, in my experience anyway. I had a class taught by Dr. Mark Jacobs at ASU. He went to harvard undergrad, stanford phd, NATO post doctoral fellowship and he was teaching the same stuff that his father did. He just picked up his fathers work in plant biology and ran with it. The class was SOOO interesting and the way he taught was amazing. I wouldn't be who i am today without his influence. Who wouldn't want to learn economics from a nobel laureate? I don't really think it's all about money - but personal growth.

Well, I will become the person I am destined to become.
I have heavy predestination beliefs.
