Hah, I actually met my current girlfriend through that very same site nigh on two years ago!  I had put up a profile, saw that there were only like 25 females within a reasonable distance from me, emailed a few who sounded legit, never heard back, totally forgot about the site... then low and behold about three or four months later I received an email notification that some pretty li'l lady who had recently moved into the neighborhood had sent me a message.  Damn good thing that site sent me a notification at my regular email address or I would have seriously missed out!  We've been living together for over a year and she's had my heart ever since!

There's a lot of bullshit to wade through with online personals, but that's not really much different from meeting strangers anywhere else!

That's awesome!  I am soo leary of those online dating sites, but I tell you what, it's difficult to find a decent woman who is open to the psychedelic experience, which is a prerequisite for dating me.    That's great though man.  Good to see someone in the community having success.  I will register.
