His parents are legal and they went through all of the legal processes for their children but then 9/11 happened and everything has been stalled since.
Laws and border's aside, a human being has the right to do whatever it takes to lead the best life possible. Legally, you shouldn't be smoking pot. Do you give a fuck? Fuck the law.

A nation has a right to decide who is, and who isn't allowed within its borders. No I don't give a fuck about whether or not smoking pot is illegal, because it being illegal is unjust. However a country is fully justified to make certain things necessary to live here legally.
And if his parents are legal why isn't he legal?
I honestly don't give a fuck, if he is not in America legally than he should not be here. The end.

You know we used to have a creed that went like, give us your poor and your hungry, or something like that. But now the process is just too much. That's why mexican's dont bother. You want to be on a waiting list for 3 years and then maybe get citizenship status? no one does. i think that's the problem.

I meant starting from then, I was meaning don't do it again (because I was stopping since I felt there was discussion to be had). I very much don't like people here illegally a lot. If they couldn't get the paperwork done, then they shouldn't be here.
Well, just to be clear. The is a new bill being proposed that would help him become a citizen since he came over before the age of 6.

And that is also 100% true, that really really is the problem. I would prefer it to be more streamlined. But I also very much believe in the necessity to be able to decide who gets to live here and who does not. There is only a finite number of jobs available in America, and having people that aren't here legally employed decreases the number available to legal citizens.
And you can say that they do jobs others don't want to do, but I will respond that anyone with a large enough need for money will seek out money.

You just said your beef is with them breaking the law? This sounds like racism masked by a legal issue. I was expecting you to say that the illegals take our low wage jobs, extra costs to the tax payer from frequent ER visits since they dont have insurance, etc.

I don't care what color skin they are, they can be white for all I care. I'm pretty anti-racist actually.

But the reasons you stated are reasons that I support it remaining illegal.
Plus Elcharro is the only one who has even mentioned a specific race. I don't even care their country of origin, I just don't want people that haven't completed everything required for citizenship to be here.

I just very much respect a sovereign countries right to decide who is and who is not legal to reside within its borders. Because that countries opinions and rules regarding people are based on those that reside within the country.
