so its my first grow and ive got a bunch of plants growing in some soil. i originaly planned to flower these and take clones then use those in a DWC setup..but ive got springtails in all the pots and am really liking the idea of hydro having no soil for the buggers to live in. my question in this: my plants are maybe a month..a month and a half old, not very big but lots of leaves..would it be possible to just cut the main stem and a bunch of the lower leaves off..dip it in rooting horomone/gel w.e and root that in say rockwool (doesnt matter to me) then put that straight into the DWC i plan to build? itd be like taking the whole plant as a "clone." i dont think theyre quite big enough to produce actual clones but would this be a waste of time?
